FYI: Being at Peace with Ourselves
This presentation will focus on the concepts of mindfulness and self-compassion. Mindfulness is about purposely paying attention to the present moment and without judgment. Self-compassion means being kind and understanding toward ourselves when we suffer, fail or feel inadequate rather than ignoring our pain or judging ourselves harshly with self-criticism. Carol will be talking about how these ideas translate into life and the problems, tasks and joys of each day.
