FYI: Drive Happiness

Drive Happiness is a non-profit organization which provides low-cost, volunteer-based assisted transportation to older Albertans. It ensures that seniors who are unable to drive or use alternate forms of transit due to health, mobility, and/or income barriers are connected to community-based programs and services. This means seniors can attend recreation programs, socialize with loved ones, attend community events, obtain medical care, pick up groceries, and access the resources needed to live and age well. It also means that caregivers receive a much-needed break. In this presentation, you will
learn about the Drive Happiness volunteer program and how you can get involved. You will also get to hear details about how the Drive Happiness seniors’ assisted
transportation program works.
