FYI: Maintain Your Momentum: Tips for Preventing Falls, Remaining Mobile, and Aging Safely in Place
We will discuss the importance of fall prevention as we age, as one bad fall can be the catalyst for a gradual loss of independence. You will learn how simple changes—such as utilizing a cane or walker, a raised toilet seat, or a grab bar in the tub or shower—contribute to much greater safety at home. Keeping in mind that “motion is lotion” and “sitting is the new smoking,” we have geared this session specifically for those who are focused on staying active and healthy.
