Tai Chi

This class is an introduction to Yang style tai chi and qigong. Tai chi is a popular exercise and martial arts system and philosophy that originated in China  hundreds of years ago and is globally practiced by millions of people in modern times. Tai chi improves a person’s balance and flexibility and the overall well-being of the body’s joints, muscles, and connective tissues. Qi gong is a gentle and non-martial series of postures and movements that stimulate the body’s natural energy pathways as well as having a beneficial effect on internal organs.
